Prof. Dr. Michael J. Strobel has been a partner in sporthopaedicum since 1992. Nationally and internationally, Prof. Dr. med. Michael J. Strobel has an excellent reputation as a knee specialist and scientist. The focus of his surgical work is arthroscopic surgery of the knee joint. He has been consistently included in the FOCUS list since it was first published in 1993, making him one of the most highly recommended knee specialists in Germany. In 2021 he was again included in the list of doctors in the magazine “Guter Rat” as a top doctor in the joints/orthopedic surgery category. For years, Prof. Strobel has operated not only on numerous international top athletes but also on professional athletes, for example from various national and international soccer Bundesliga clubs. Some of his patients have again won gold and silver medals at the Olympic Games and World Championships.
