Dr. Franz Hilber, MD

Short Profile:

Dr. Hilber is a specialist in the treatment of spinal disorders. During his work in trauma surgery and traumatology at the University Hospital Regensburg Dr. Hilber focused on the surgical treatment of spinal injuries.

After his positions at the orthopedic specialty clinics for spinal therapy in Lindenlohe and Fürth Dr. Hilber was appointed as a DPS scholarship holder at the renowned and internationally recognized Schulthess Clinic in Zurich under Prof. Jeszenszky. There, he was appointed deputy senior physician due to his excellent clinical work. Subsequently, Dr. Hilber moved to the Center for Spine and Pain at the St. Vinzenz Hospital in the VKKD hospital group in Düsseldorf as a senior physician. There, he was responsible for both the theoretical and practical training of resident doctors as well as the surgical treatment of all spinal surgical entities. In 2022, Dr. Hilber took over the senior physician leadership at the newly established Center for Spinal and Scoliosis Therapy in Bad Abbach under Prof. Koller and Dr. Morrison, as well as the medical management of the Medical Care Center Bad Abbach.

With over 1,500 therapeutic procedures in his field Dr. Hilber is considered a recognized specialist in the conservative and surgical treatment of all degenerative and traumatic spinal disorders.

Dr. Hilber is operationally certified by the German Spine Society (DWG).
